Well, I had no idea it had been so long since I had posted.

maybe...in the back of my mind i did.

I have been struggling. I have been at this for almost four years and I am tired and drained. How many ways is there to say:

I MISS MY DAUGHTER!

I WANT MY DAUGHTER HOME!

I AM HURTING, BECAUSE ALL I WANT TO DO IS HOLD HER!

And the list goes on. It is the same as when I was waiting for Jonas, and now it is for Ellie. I do miss her! But I know the timing is in God's hands and I must praise him for his perfect timing.

We did get some GREAT news. We got presidential approval! This is a big thing for all you non-adopting folks. Waiting for this has held some families up for years. So we are blessed that it has taken months for us. We really feel like it is very possible she could be home by Spring. (April/May)

We have been told due to yet another change in the Haitian court systems Todd and I BOTH may have to fly down and sign in front of the judge (or someone in his office) to show we really want to adopt Ellie. Ugh! This would not be good for us financially. Please pray that God's hand would remove this requirement. It really is a hardship for many families!

I will try to do a better job of keeping up my blog. I feel I need to focus more on Ellie right now. Not to leave Jonas out, but right now there just isn't a lot of news coming from Haiti.

Never fear I will do posts about Jonas too. And if there are a lot of him and little of her just know it's because I do not have new pictures or news of her. Less families are traveling there because their kids are home now. And we have no plans to travel soon.
