We sent down his birthday present with a team that visited the O in August. We filled a gift bag with all kinds of goodies.One thing we got him was a t-shirt with his name on it, and his nickname 'Katouche" which means bullet. Plus a Snoopy on it. Bethany, my niece, got a picture for me...doesn't he look cute? Silly us thought that maybe with his name on it in creol, the nannies would save it for just him to wear. uh...no...after all this is Haiti we are talking
about. I got a picture the other day showing that nothing is personal at the O. Too funny I think. Oh well at least it was my good friend's little boy wearing it!I want to share my tribute to Jonas. I watched it and it brightened my day. Hopefully it will brighten yours as well! Jonas has always been able to do that for me. His eyes just suck me in and his smile just invites me to join him in his world where all is all right.
He's 3 years old today. My little man, oh how mommy misses you!
I dedicate this video to my sweet 'Little Man' Jonas Todd Burnett.

I made it thru the day! Of course I kept myself busy like crazy! :)
And we did call down to the O and talked to him. He was on speaker phone and all of us sang Happy Birthday to him. It was awesome to hear him say, "I love you mama"!!!!!!!!

i had to write a paper in English glass, that had to be about one of the funniest people i know. guess who i picked... JONAS! (it was hard to choose between Mia Grace & Katouche) i had a lot of fun writing about him!

Okay, so I am a little late in checking your blog...I just remembered why I don't check it very often...because I just sit here and ball my eyes out every time. I really hurts my heart that he is not home yet...whew...why is this so hard for me? My heart is with you all and especially with this precious little guy. I long for the day when I get to hug him tight and tell him myself how much I love him!
