I worked the morning and night of Jonas' birthday. So Todd headed up the small celebration. Our family tradition is to make Cinnamon rolls the morning of the kids' birthdays. And they always have a few small presents waiting for them too. But since this was Jonas' first birthday home he had one big one.
And because I was working (I needed the paycheck) we decided to do his party at another time.
Jonas LOVES Spiderman. And it seemed like every little friend's house he went to had a Spiderman costume and he ALWAYS put it on!
So it only seemed fitting that our house have one too. Todd said he was SOOOOOo excited. I wish I could have been there. Todd got really good pictures.
He immediately wanted to put it on!

After I left for work in the evening Todd did the one thing he always loved to do when he was little...dig in the dirt and make race tracks for the match box cars. Well it wasn't long and the girls wanted to do it too. Todd said it was a great daddy-kids moment!
After it got dark it was time to come in and make cupcakes. Jonas had a ball putting icing on them! Yeah right, eat the icing is more like it!
My boy is 5 years old today!!!!!!
