Jonas' Birthday Party- at last!

So at long last Jonas had his birthday party! He had to wait almost a month and he did a pretty good job waiting for it. We counted down sleeps the last week.

We held his party at our church. It provides a lot of room for lots of rowdy boys! :)

We thought cupcakes would be easier!

We had the kids decorate their own treat bags. Hey, it takes up time and they really enjoyed it!

RELAY RACE:

We decided to do a relay race. They were suppose to keep the balloon between their knees and run down and tag my hand and run back. Uh...yeah a LOT of cheating was happening! But they had fun and everyone was laughing!

Jonas and Mia (also from Haiti) started it off.

We had one more boy than girl so my friend was gracious enough to help even the numbers. GO Amy!

Jonas and I having fun with the broken pieces. Well...ok I was having fun. Jonas was mad because I wouldn't let him have the HUGE pile of candy. I made him share some it with others!

Jessica volunteered to help Jonas open his gifts! Boy was he excited!

I think he was excited about this one!

We got Jonas a puppy from the Build A Bear store. It was a "Jonas" dog. It was meant to celebrate the Jonas Brothers. I took the dog tag picture of them off the dog. It is so cute. It has the name Jonas all over it along with guitars! Perfect!
