Ellie, today will be hard for me. It's just something mommies go thru. We feel like we should be there for important events in our children's lives! My prayer and wish for you this day is that this will be the last birthday for us to be apart!
Heavenly Father,I just want to lift up this day to you. Please bless this day for Ellie. Let her not just know but feel how much we love her! Speak to her spirit, let her see our faces and feel our arms wrapped around her. Encourage her today. Love her today for us both. Let this year ahead be one of new beginnings and security for this precious little life. Let the hedge of protection still stand around her. Let us not forget to always lift her up in prayer. Prepare our hearts and home for her glorious homecoming. And as I pray every night, let our wait be short.
Continue to grow her knowledge and understanding of you. And bless us with a growing knowledge and understanding of her. We continue to place her in your hands and trust you with her life and the life of our family. Thank you for choosing us as her family. Let us not forget that this is a sacred gift to be cherished.
