No School?

Yippee!!!!!!!!! No school yesterday or today!!!! I LOVE snow! I know, I am wierd, but it doesn't seem like winter unless we have one good snow.

Well we got it this week. Lots of snow and then a whole lot of freezing rain on top of it. So we couldn't build a snow man, but we could still have a lot of fun. The drive way and yard were covered in ice, so the girls went sledding down our driveway. See......

Then it was time to work a bit. It took over an hour to get the van warm enough to break thru the ice to get it cleaned off.

Todd trying to hang on and not slip on the ice. Ok, not really but you have to admitt he looks aweful funny!

And finally a message to Jonas & Ellie......

WE LOVE YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hugs, Kristina

Snow days, I like...ice days, not so much! It took me 30 minutes to chip away at a small area of ice on the drive way.
Great pictures though!!! Looks like you all had lots of fun!

I'm SO jealous. I don't really want the ice but our biggest snow in exactly one year was a whopping 1/2 inch yesterday. Big bummer!

SOOO not fair...
I agree on what you said about it not being winter without snow. We didn't to Michigan to see our family for Christmas like we usually do & it kind of put me in a depressed frame of mind for a few days. No sleding on Chrstimas... i got over it. :) I laugh just thinking about seeing pictures of Jonas sleding in the snow!! Soon... soon...
