When I was a little girl, my family took a trip to Florida. While there, my parents saw this little pink dress. I fell in love with it! My parents decided to get it for me, even though at the time it was a little bit to big. I wore it every chance I got. My parents had my picture taken in it when I was 4 years old(1973). Fast forward a few years. I had given birth to Jessica (1995). My mom tells me she saved a few of my clothes. Imagine my surprise when she pulled out my little pink dress from the cedar chest!
So over the next few years and two more daughters being born I have carried on the tradition of the little pink dress. All three of my daughters have reached the 4 year mark and had their pictures taken in the little pink dress.
Jessica-1999, Megan-2002, Lillie-2004I distinctly remember when it was finally Lillie's turn I was so excited, but sad. Excited that it was finally her turn; sad that it would be my last little girl having her picture taken in my little pink dress. ..until now.
My little Ellie will have her turn too! My heart is leaping with joy at the thought of Ellie having her picture taken in my little pink dress. I pray God will have her home in time for her 4 year photo session. I have the dress waiting for my beautiful little girl to wear! Won't she look great in it?Mommy loves you Ellie!
Hugs, Kristina
