14 YEARS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well, today was mine and Todd's 14th wedding anniversary. Yikes!

How did we celebrate? I made my homemade fried chicken and we (Todd, the girls, and I)snuggled in to watch the DVD Hairspray. It was an awesome family night! Now before some of you get your panties in a bunch, I KNOW anniversaries are for husband and wife. But knowing tonight would be a school night, Todd and I had alone time on Saturday night instead.

My mom gave us movie passes that could be used for any movie. And it just so happened that a movie we both wanted to go see was having a special sneak preview on Saturday. When we saw the previews for this movie we knew it would be a good movie...but I'm here to tell you it was way more than that. It was incredible! A must own kind of movie! August Rush is a wonderful movie! Go see it.

Even though it wasn't the ideal way to celebrate an anniversary, it's ok. Because the celebration is in the everyday ways we show each other our love! I love you Todd and here's to 14 more years!

Hugs, Kristina

AMEN! I think that is a wonderful way to celebrate, treasuring all that your love has produced over all these years. Seeing you two together always swells my heart because you eminate that true value for one another, always supporting each other and over coming so much together, so connected and tender. It truly delights my heart to see.
I rejoice with you both in such a victory as 14 years!
Love you both!
You are such a blessing to me!

Happy belated anniversary guys! I can top it with a worse way to spend your anniversary. A couple of years ago when Derek & I were still foster parents, we had to take a CPR class on the evening of our anniversary. So romantic!!
