Well... I DO NOW!!!!!!!!!
I am so excited I can hardly stand it! You'd think someone had given me a real expensive gift. And it is all possible because of my young friend Jordyn Cundiff. It was her pet and she decided to give him up. She knew I loved turtles and asked me if I would like to have him. Are you kidding? YES,YES,YES!!!!!!!Thank you Jordy!!! I promise I will take good care of him, and you can come visit him anytime you want!
Isn't he beautiful? His name is Squirt.(Like in finding Nemo)

HUGS, Kristina

He really is beautiful!

The kitties haven't noticed yet. But they won't be able to get to him.
Welcome to the family little guy!

ah yes, i remember from bible study your love for turtles!! well, i'm excited that you're excited about your new pet!
Ahhh, squirt got adopted. How cute!!
Rocky had turtles like Squirt, so it's Sly-approved. Congratulations!
Well you know Angela, we are an adopting kind of family! :o
Wash your hands well. Those cuties carry salamonella.
You should come to my house when it warms up. One of our ponds is like a turtle santuary, although, I believe that I have a couple of snappers big enought to eat me!!
(Troy thinks that I am a little dramatic!)I love to sit and watch the turtles swimming or basking in the sun!!! (Not the snappers...the nice kind!!) You will definatley have to come over!!!!
Congrats on the new family member!!
Anonymous,
I do wash my hands before and after handling the turtle. But not all turtles have salmonella. That is a myth. I however have decided to ere on the side of caution.
I have done a lot of reading and research on turtles and their care. Thank you for concern.
I kind of miss him but not much...lol
Have a great time with YOUR turtle!!!!
