While we wait

Well I figured I would share a few fun things while we all wait to hear news from Haiti. I have been busy packing for my trip to Haiti. This has kept me busy and my mind off of Ellie's process. It is always exciting to go to this country and experience it's special unique way of life. I always giggle inside when others think I am going on a luxurious trip to the Caribbean.

So for your fun...

While cleaning out the girls' rooms during our Spring Break, I found this piece of art work in Lillie's room. Sweet huh? For those of you who don't know, Ellie's given name in Haiti was Daphkaline. It will now be her middle name. I love how Lillie tried to spell it.

This is a small video if Ellie and Jonas jumping the morning of the day Todd and Jonas left Haiti. It is so cute. Their last time together till she comes home. Jonas got really upset with me when he asked if he could go to Haiti with me and I told him no. He was actually crying. He said he wanted to go see Ellie and that he missed her. Talk about a good way to start a crying fest!



This is a picture of Ellie on her 4th Birthday. The dress and necklace was a gift from us.

We are getting geared up for our Spring Pictures In the Park campaign. We are doing 5 full weekends. I sent out emails to all of the people on our contact list, 48 hours we were completly booked! God is so amazing. We added another feature to our sessions. Instead of doing a price increase this year we asked everyone to donate an item to give to a local food pantry. We wanted to compound our giving and giving back to our wonderful community was where the Lord led us this time. We have a ton of ideas like this and can't wait to find other ways to give back! It gives me goose bumps every time I think about how God has blessed us with this amazing opportunity. We know we must manage it well and take that very seriously.
