It was the moment of my first meeting with Jonas. My sister-in-law Cathy Burnett took this picture right after they put Jonas in my arms!
It was an amazing moment. Like a piece of me that had been missing was finally found and made me whole again.
I remember he was so tiny and weighed hardly nothing. I was recorded as saying I wasn't going to put him down the whole trip. Uh...yeah that lasted a few short hours. He got heavy fast! :o
The next picture she took is my favorite.
I was silently thanking God for this sweet amazing boy, my son, he had given to me! It felt like coming home!
