UPDATE FROM INCARCERATION!

Howdy all!!!! I thought I'd update you on my medical research study.

Michelle: You have NOT prayed hard enough. Last night for supper we were suppose to have a chicken buritto. Uh....it was a bean one!!!! I was so grossed out. But being that I was starving and knew I wouldn't eat till 8:30 in the morning I literally choked it down! Even the employee (who eats the same thing we do, just more) double checked the box and it said chicken/bean buritto. Well if there was chicken in there I am a size 2. And since we all know this is a weight loss study I'm doing we know I'm not a size 2!!!!!

AND, Michelle they are serving peas on Thursdays lunch. I told them to make note not to even put them on my plate. No disgusting pea juice on my other food!!!!!

Angela, thank you for loving on my girls for me. I heard they had a wonderful time with you. You are going to make a GREAT mom!!!! And thankfully they have not served strawberries. Bananas though and I just handed right back to them.

We are suppose to get a snack every night. No biggie just grahm crackers. But when your every bite is watched, literally, you'll take it. BUT they forgot to put it on the official schedule so we didn't get one. I seriously thought some of the men were going to come unglued! Funny it was I tell you. These are really big guys participating in the study and the guy working was this skinny little thing. It made for an interesting 30 minutes of entertainment!

I have scrapbooked for two days now and accomplished a great deal! I am in my happy place for sure! I've gotten to watch several really good movies. I watched "RAY" today. I can see why Jamie Fox got the Oscar. He was amazing!

Tomorrow will be a long day. They wake us up at 5:30am to start a complete testing cycle. What does this mean? We get weighted, they test the amount of water in our body, take our vitals, stand for 15 min get our ankles and waist measured, see the doctor for an exam and lay 15 mins still and get an ECG. they will do vitals several times all day and ECG 's as well. Not much time for anything else.

I'm not going crazy yet. Tee Hee! I'll get back to you in a couple of days on that one.

Thank you all for your prayers and best wishes. It really is an easy way to make a lot of money at one time if you have the time to give.

Hugs, Kristina

Todd brought the computer to his visit with me. That's how I'm posting! No cojugal visits though. RATS!

Ok seriously, you are crazy. Beans, bananas, strawberries, and peas are some of my favorite foods.
Especially strawberries!

Good luck with your study, Kristina. I did a study a few weeks ago where I stayed there two weekends in a row and I thought I would die of boredom! I remember those early morning wake up calls but the one's I attended gained me a shunt in my arm to make it easier for them to draw blood from me about once ever two seconds! I think you might starve to death there those if you don't start eating some of your fruits and veggies. (I am with you on the pea thing though. They're nasty! I can't even stand the smell!) I wish I could do another study just to earn the cash too but I just can't use up that much vacation time on the off chance that somehow Glory will be home before the end of the year.
