First up: Jessica's
She was so taken with the paintings in Haiti while we were there in April. One of the first things she did when we got home was paint. And this is what she painted. Looks Haitian to me. I was floored by it.Second: Lillie's

This past week I was going thru the girl's rooms getting rid of the clutter. (A daunting task.) I do this once a year. I find that when I go thru their desks I often find hidden treasures, like this one. I have no idea where she did it, but I'm glad I took the time to go thru the countless papers. This made me cry and I'm very thankful that she gets it, really gets it! Thank you Jesus!

Those are cool pictures!!!they look great too!!!!!
Way to go Jessica! That really does look Haitian! One trip and she comes back a Haitian :) I love it! I hope the art supplies have come in handy.
It is delightful to see the little hidden jems in Lillie's heart. She can be coy with genuine feelings but what a joy when they come out and bless our hearts. I know there is way more love hidding in there than we ever see, and we usually get to see quite a bit. But of course it is no surprise becuase she has inherited that big heart from her mom & dad :).
ok...I know God made my children brilliant!! I mean they were created in HIS image!!
Great art! Jess, your painting is amazing!!
