I came across Jonas's handprints and footprints. Huh? you say. Well before going to Haiti I really took the time to think about things I would want to have when I got back to remember Jonas by. To make me feel close to him. Some way to record him. And I thought about how at the hospital when a baby is born they take impressions of their feet. So how could I do the same of Jonas?
I took with me a colored stamping pad and paper! While I was there I covered his hands and feet with the ink from the ink pad and made impressions of them! And amazingly, my son sat still the whole time I did it. Seriously, he did! I did several different impressions, so it took a bit to get done. We just made a game of it and had fun! So I thought I'd show you them.

Aren't these just too precious?
Did you know that no two people have the same fingerprints? Just another amazing thing God did while he knit us together in our mother's womb! I can't wait to teach Jonas he is a unique work of God!!!!
Hugs, Kristina

Those are gorgeous!! That was a great idea!
I love them! Thanks for letting me borrow the idea while in Haiti. I had no idea I would need ink (cause I didn't know what God was up to). I do treasure their hand prints and footprints. I look at them often and it also helped me find shoes to fit their feet. You are so creative. Can't wait to see your scrapbook when you are done!
