APPROVED

Hello!
Well we FINALLY got our 171H approval! YEAH!!!!!!

For those of you who don't know what that is, it is preapproval from the US government to adopt a child.(check out my entry called adoption 101)

The letter is so funny. It says the government has determined us to be able to furnish proper care to an orphan.Whoo Hoo! Who knew it took 4 children before the government would say we could be parents. TeeHee!

Anyways, this is a BIG deal. Now they can make our first appointment in Haiti.

This past weekend went really well with the pictures in the park. We made enough, combined with what we had, to pay the first half of the filing fees and lawyer fees in Haiti. The $2,100 I talked about in the last entry. Yeah!!!!!!!! God is good.

Also be praying for guidence for us right now. We are taking a serious look at finances for our family. And our house payment is not helping us, it's hurting us. We can manage but at the cost of a lot of stress and worry at times. We are SERIOUSLY looking at selling our house and buying a cheaper one. We feel God will honor our desire to get in balance on everything. We need wisdom to make sure we don't end up with the same situation, but still have the basic needs for our family. We would appreciate the extra time on the knees! Thanks!
