While Jonas was living at the Orphanage, once in awhile I would receive a picture. Nothing special, just a snap shot into his world and daily life.There is one that for whatever reason has always stuck in my brain. I got it in 2007. Jonas had found a pair of jeans and put them on all by himself and came to show the house manager. She grabbed her camera and snapped a picture.
When I got it I remember thinking, "Why do they have jeans in Haiti?" I mean come on 90+ weather with 100% humidity who sends jeans to an orphanage? Then I was struck by how darn cute he looked in them, so masculine. I saw a glimpse into the future of him as a teenager. It is crazy how a photo can bring about so many thoughts at once.
Fast forward to 2009. Jonas comes home and we do our first official family photo shoot. I asked Todd if it was crazy to want to redo that photo in a studio setting? I just think it is a very "boy" look and I love it! Hope you do to.Hugs, Kristina

oh i do! i do! i can't remember if i took that or if carsen did. i will have to go back and check. this is very "boy" which is funny when you look at kathy's post about caleb! both boys have three big sisters! however, i know jonas can hold his own!! caleb is a bit young . . . :)
