Sunday was Jonas' 4th birthday. And shame on me I didn't post about it. In fact Todd and I forgot to call and wish him a happy birthday!
So obviously we won't be nominated for the best parents of the year award!
Seriously, I think my brain purposefully made me forget because the idea of him not being home for ANOTHER birthday is really upsetting to me! UGH! I can't win either way.

Even though your momma forgot to call, I still love you. I am just hurting right now because I miss you so much! I hope you got your present from us, and felt my heart pounding with love for you! I ache to hold you and touch you and lavish you with my love. Soon my darling, soon!

It is so hard to see them have "another" birthday in Haiti and not at home...I can so relate with you on this. Stay strong in knowing that his next birthday will be at home:)

It does stink missing another birthday. It really. does. hurt. I have to keep telling myself- like you- this IS the LAST ONE I'll miss, next year he'll be here FOR SURE, NO MORE orphanage birthdays left... Hang in there sister. I am praying for your family!

I sure feel bad I am not there to bake a cake for all the Sept. birthdays. I know the team will throw a big party-Jonas knows how to celebrate anytime.
