Still no word yet on whether or not Jonas is in MOI. AND,my updated homestudy should be in my hand by July8th! But, I did get this info on the kids from a friend who is down there right now waiting to bring her children home.
ELLIE:Ellie is a doll! She calls for me every time I walk past the nursery or if she sees me through the window. She seems very grown up to me for such a little girl. By that I mean she has a great vocabulary and thought process. Especially compared to the other children who don't talk much at all but are about the same age. I think she is a very smart cookie!! She loves to come in and eat the snacks you sent. She was just in this morning having some and Sandy put a Barney video in for her, Becca, & Jean Baptist. They were all so cute watching it. Ellie is very playful and cuddly. She loves to be held and is perfectly content sitting on your lap! On the other hand she is strong willed and thoroughly enjoys getting her own way. ; ) She has Nicole and Kathia wrapped around her little finger, so she is a little spoiled by them. When given something constructive to do, she does great!
JONAS:Jo.....well....mischievous, sneaky, gets in to everything, in his mind he is the authority. One of those, "if he weren't so cute, he would be in lots of trouble." : ) He is very helpful! Comes to collect the empty water jugs, was helping me sort supplies, loves loves loves to be the helper! He sometimes goes outside to sit with Lukinsin(one of the day guards). He was out there today just rocking in a rocking chair. He is adorable, but keep note that if something is missing.....check with Jo.
PLEASE-Could you pray for these children and their families. They are waiting,in Haiti, to get their visas to come home. They are so so very close! They could be home to Evansville next week!

Praying for all 5 to come home this week! Praise God for Ellie's birth certificate!!! Yeah! Praying things will go very fast for her after the DHS appt.! "Loved" the descriptions of your kids...she was right on!!!

WOO HOO!!! Both of our babies finally have their birth certificates. That is a major hurdle that we have finally crossed. I'm praying it all goes quickly from here on out!
Praying for them and your fmaily as well!! Looks like you'll have your hands full when they come home but you're going to LOVE every minute of it!!

Wow! Love the new look! What a great photo up top. And what can I say but PRAISE THE LORD you finally got Ellie's birth certificate. And you are SO right on with both their personalities! Lord, speed these lovely kids home!
