The girls and I have been swimming a LOT this summer. Which has been really nice because of the heat. Well, I've come to the conclusion that we don't really know what swimming is until you have seen it from a Haitian point of view!
Obviously the pools don't last very long, but rest assured you get your money's worth for them in Haiti.
The kids LOVE it. I've not seen this in person, but this is the second time I've seen pictures. It always makes me laugh and smile. The children obviously enjoy it.
And JONAS?........
Here he reminds me of Todd. Just laid back chillin.
Isn't it funny how he is always aware of where the camera is?
Too funny!
Too funny!
And this one is my favorite. Because to me it shows how I feel.....
"Jonas, my handsome little man, you will ALWAYS stand out in a crowd to me!"
I LOVE YOU!
Hugs, Mommy

Those are awesome pictures! And you're right we have "no idea" how to fully "appreciate" swimming like that. :o)
I love the last one of Belle. This is what I was talking about Kristina. She is sitting in her little corner of the pool with her grumpy face on because everyone one is so in her space...LOL!. I love these pictres!!!
Too cute!!
This would help explain why all the blow-up pools were busted when I was down there last week...
This is AWESOME!!! How fun! What fun memories.
ok, that is hilarious. thanks for the smile...
yeah, sadly we only did this a few times this summer. then they, somehow, weren't usable any longer. (i'm sure it had nothing to do with my cats.)
you're right, personalities run strong in these kids!!
I was going to ask how long a pool lasts ... like one day maybe?
cute pics!
hugs to you and yours.
I'll never forget the first time I saw the kids run and jump into pools. Those kids are fast. I think one of the best parts of that day was You-You's long talk she had with them about not going pee pee in the pools. Mission accomplished (well as far as we knew).
