Bethany just got back from a trip to Haiti. She had pictures for me, along with stories, of course.
It was so nice to hear about Jonas and Ellie! I miss them so very much. Sometimes it feels like a double edge sword. How? Well I am thrilled to hear ANYTHING about my children. But...it is hard to find out about my children from other people. I'm their mother and I should know them and be telling everyone else about them! Do you understand? It's hard dealing with all the emotional waves that come my way. But adoption is like that. I've experienced some really high highs and some really low lows. In the end, common sense kicks in and I am just simply grateful for any info of any kind from Haiti!!
So, here is my favorite picture that Bethany took....isn't it amazing?
I am a profile girl at heart.
I just LOVE how they are looking in the same direction!
My beautiful Haitian children...your momma loves you! And I'm trying to find a way to visit you again!
Also, here are all the Burnett children coming to our family. Aren't the cousins cute?
Can you imagine the first Christmas with all of them home? MeMe and PaPa, you might want to build on that extra room to the cabin! :)
Hugs, Kristina

WOW, Gorgeous pictures!
I hope the orphange managed ok with hurricane Dean going through there!
I know you will enjoy every moment of getting to know your children once they come home!
They survived the hurricane.
But as we all know the hurricane season just started, so please be praying!
Kristina, I love that picture of Jonas and Ellie!! That's frame worthy. Way to go Bethany! Jonas is going to be an awesome brother. He already looks so protective. How cute!
