Imagine my surprise to find out Jonas has a cousin AND he is living at the "O"!!!!
Jimmie is a live in employee at the "O". He's in his 20's. He is wonderful. He loves the kids at the "O" so much and it shows.
On the day we went sightseeing in Haiti, Jimmie was invaluable to me. He helped me carry Jonas around. It really lightened my load a great deal. This picture is from that day.
I noticed that he and Jonas had a bond and at the time I couldn't figure it out. I just assumed it was because Jimmie lives at the "O" and Jonas sees him on a daily basis. And when I got home and showed my pics to Todd, he had commented on how they looked alike.
Well...duh...they are 2nd cousins!!! Jimmie's birthmother and Jonas's birthmother are 1st cousins!!!!!!!
And the cool thing is Jimmie has plans to come live in the states to go to school in California. Then hopefully get his permanent citizenship to follow. So Jonas would have a blood relative here in the states!! WhoHoo!!!!!

How exciting! That was cool the day he packed him around on his shoulders. They are buddies. I see trips to California in your future.
