Yippee!!!!! I have great news all around.
-First, We got our translations back on Friday Oct 6th. Mailed them to Chicago to Todd's uncle to take to the Haitian Consulate. He took them Tuesday (because Monday was a holiday) to the consulate. The consulate was done Tuesday afternoon, so Uncle Terryl Fed Exed them back to us. We got them today Oct 11th! thank you Uncle Terryl!!!!
- Second, our fingerprinting with the FBI went real well! We got there 15 minutes early and they were done with us by the time of our original appoinment time. My fingerprinting took longer than Todd's. Evidently I have extra swirlies within my fingerprint, that with one wrong move it messes up the impression. Ugh! I didn't think I would ever be done! Other than that it all went smoothly and Todd and I enjoyed the day alone together.
_ Last, but not least! Today, Wednesday October 11th, I mailed my dossier to Gretchen (member of the board for Three Angels)!!!! Yeah!!!!!! Yippee!!!!!!! She will be leaving for Haiti on Sunday. And boy does she have a heavey load! She will be hand delivering not only our paperwork, but Troy and Cathy's as well. I believe the Collin's paperwork went down with Gail last week. Us mom's have prayed for the angels to escort her personally thru the airports!
It feels good to have it all done on my part. But a little bittersweet as well. I'm a bit of a control freak and I have been laboring over this paperwork for 6 months. On the one hand I am glad it's done, but on the other hand I didn't want to let it go! Crazy! Common sense prvailed and off it went! But what a relief it is to know my part is done! Praise God!!!!!!
Hugs, Kristina

Yeah!!! I'm so glad you are done and it is out of your hands. Now take a deep breath and relax. You deserve it!!
I was a nervous wreck till we met up with Jeremy and Michelle's pastor to pray over our paper work before we sent it. I felt much better after that! It DOES feel good to be done with it!
Yeah!!! I know I already talked to you today, but I wanted to put it in writing how happy I am that your dossier is complete and soon to be in Haiti.
Congratulations! It is SOOO good to have all of that done! We had our fingerprints done yesterday also. Mine was also very difficult. They kept using the edge of my driver's licence to scrap my skin and try to make my prints "stand up" more. It was crazy and for a while I was concerned that they weren't going to be able to get them done. Anyway, I'm so happy for you! Now comes the wait- I'm praying that it is miraculously shorter than we could possibly hope.
