HAPPY BIRTHDAY LITTLE MAN!

Jonas,

Oh, my precious little man I can not be with you today. But I am with you in my prayers! I thought today would be tough, but with God's help I made it. I ach to hold you and whisper "I Love You" in your ear. I long to not just tell you,but show you that we are your forever family.

Even with all the longings today to be with you to celebrate your birthday, I know you were with the best person of all on your birthday...Jesus. He loves you way more than I ever could. He created you. He picked your birthday and knows you by name. He was there today. He celebrated your birth and life with you today. You were cradled in his hands. So how could I wish to take you from that?

I know this will be the last birthday you spend without me....so I will wait. But I promise you next year we will have one HUGE celebration for you. And you know what? Jesus will be there too. He's cool that way. He never forgets about us.

I blew bubbles today for you. Still wishing that one would float to Haiti. :) And your sisters and I (daddy was at work) put candles on some cupcakes and sang happy birthday to you. Of course your sisters all had the same wish. It was for you to come home soon!
