Bubbles, are a fun and very simple thing. Have you ever noticed that?
I have been missing Jonas lately, and I was in Walmart and saw a thing of bubbles on clearance. And suddenly I was transported back to Haiti watching Jonas enjoying bubbles. The children in Haiti LOVE bubbles. They aren't an everyday occurrence there. Amazing considering they are just soap and water blown thru a hole on a stick!
I remember it was Sunday in Haiti and we were throwing the whole orphanage a birthday party in honor of Noah's birthday. Each child got gifts and there was music, toys, cheese puffs, and bubbles.
Jonas loves to try and grab them. The picture above is so sweet. He is concentrating so hard on catching it! Another day he was chasing them around and just enjoying himself thoroughly!
I miss my sweet boy. And found myself buying these bubbles. The bottle boast a "gazillion bubbles" for your fun. I went home and sat on the back deck and just blew bubbles. I thought about Jonas the whole time. Wishing at least one bubble would float to Jonas with a message of my love attached to it. Of course we all know that won't happen, but that is what the heart does when it misses something or someone. Dreams and wishes!
I long for the day that Jonas and I can sit together and blow bubbles. When he will get up and chase them across the yard. The sound of his laughter mingled with mine. So simple. So I will continue to blow bubbles for Jonas till he comes home. It is crazy how doing something so simply can bring my heart comfort.
You know God is like that. You go to him and blow all your troubles to him and he makes them float. Some pop instantly, others linger for awhile, and some just never are. But God is ALWAYS there. There to listen, there to blow, sometimes there to pop the bubbles, but ALWAYS there.
What do you need comfort from today? Say a prayer to your Heavenly Father to carry your bubbles high into the sky! Go blow some bubbles and dream. I promise you will feel better!
Hugs, Kristina

Kristina, I loved the bubble analogy. Thanks for the insight.
Love the bubbles, and what a cool way to compare it to our prayers. How's that for a comment. LOL!!!
